Game Summary: The Beaver faithful were hoping that starting pitcher Sam Clark could take his six pitch win from the 1st game and translate it into a solid start in game 2, but it wasn't meant to be. Clark was only able to record one out while surrendering four earned runs, and would get tagged with the loss. After striking out Corey Larson to start the game, he allowed singles to Ryan Bloom and Jordan Pellett, and then walked Brian Nysberger to load the bases. Jeb Jenkens singled, and Trenton Shutt and Jake Hansen drew consecutive walks knocking in two more runs. Adam Bielmeier came in relief, and got Kyle Franseen and Casey Larson to ground out, but the Bulldogs were spotted a four run lead and would never trail. Be that as it may, the Beavers got two runs in their half of the 1st helped by shoddy Bulldog defense. Bielmeier reached on an error by 2B Kyle Franseen, and stole second base. Nolan Scheps drew a walk. Starting pitcher Jeb Jenkins got Tommy Zappa out on strikes and got Mitch Blaser to ground out to 2B. Graham Miller grounded to 2B, and Franseen got his 2nd error of the inning. He got DH Brady Rose to ground out hard to 3B to end the threat.

The game remain unchanged until the fourth when Boyceville pushed the lead to 6-2. With one out, Franseen drew a walk and Casey Larson reached on an error by 2B Graham Severson. Corey Larsen and Ryan Bloom hit consecutive singles driving in runs. Boyceville got one more in the fifth and four more in the sixth. Cumberland rallied for four runs in the 7th. Sawyer FollansbeeDelong led the inning off with a single, and Beau Bergstrom drew a walk. Mike Forster, hitting for the first time in the game, hit a double down the LF line driving in both runners. Vaughn Waite, batting for Scheps and Ryan Behling, batting for Zappa, drew walks. Blaser hit into a fielder's choice, driving in a run. After Graham Miller struck out, Rose singled hard to RF. Jenkins got Severson to pop out to 3B to preserve his win.

Boyceville improved their record to 10-3, while the Beavers fell to 7-6.
